Spooniversity is a professional school built for chronically ill learners — by people with the same constraints. Real curriculum, real artefacts, real credentials. Designed to work on crash days, not just good ones.
Every course is free to read, no account needed. Finish one and a certificate is €19, or a full pathway certificate is €59 — up to €36 less than certifying every course in that pathway separately, though on the shorter pathways course-by-course works out cheaper (exact numbers per pathway below). Once issued, a certificate is yours forever. No subscription, no expiry, no surprise charge if you crash for a month.

Do I have to pay to take a course?
No. Every lesson in every course is free to read — no account, no payment, no waitlist. Open the catalog and start right now. Payment only comes in if you want a certificate once you finish.
How much is a certificate?
€19 per course, once you've completed every lesson in it. Once issued, it's yours forever — no subscription, no renewal, no expiry.
Why pay €59 for a pathway certificate when I could buy course certificates à la carte?
A pathway is a curated set of related courses that build to one complete qualification, in an order that is already decided for you — so on a brain-fog day you don't have to choose where to start. On the money: every pathway certificate is €59, but pathways differ in length, so it only works out cheaper on the longer ones. Bedvocates (5 courses) costs €95 à la carte, so the pathway saves you €36. BedData (4 courses) costs €76 à la carte, so the pathway saves you €17. BedCare (4 courses) costs €76 à la carte, so the pathway saves you €17. The Living (2 courses) costs €38 à la carte, so certifying course by course is the cheaper route there — buy the pathway only if you want the single qualification.
Is there a subscription?
No. We considered one and decided against it. Subscriptions punish people whose energy is unpredictable — if you crash for two months, you would still be paying for something you cannot use. Content is free forever regardless; a certificate, once paid for, is yours forever too.
What if you add new courses later?
New courses will be free to read like everything else. A certificate for a new course is a new purchase — it will not auto-unlock for people who paid for other certificates, but nobody owes us anything either way.
Can I get a refund on a certificate?
14 days, no questions asked. Email hello@spooniversity.org and we will refund you. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion — but if life happened (a crash, a hospitalisation, something unexpected) just write to us. We are humans before a policy document.
I cannot afford €19 for a certificate right now. Anything?
Email hello@spooniversity.org. We have a small scholarship pool for people for whom the price is a real barrier. No essay, no proof — we trust you. And remember: the course itself is already free regardless.
Is BedCamp the same as a course?
No. BedCamp is five free lessons that introduce the school. The catalog is the school itself — full courses, also free to read, with an optional paid certificate on completion. You can take BedCamp without signing up for anything, and you can read a course without taking BedCamp first.
Does the catalog include Bedcoders?
No. Bedcoders is our sister site — separate purchase, separate home at bedcoders.com. Same design principles, different curriculum.
Do you have an enterprise / team plan?
Not yet. If you are a clinic, employer, or organisation that wants to sponsor multiple certificates, email hello@spooniversity.org and we will work it out.
What about VAT?
Certificate prices include VAT for EU customers. The exact rate is shown at checkout based on your billing country, per EU VAT rules for digital services.
